ABOUT
HANDS ON HEROES FOUNDATION
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to empower individuals with the skills and confidence to act in emergency situations by providing free hands-on CPR training to communities. We believe that by teaching people how to perform CPR, we can help save lives and create a safer and more compassionate society. Our goal is to make CPR training accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or financial situation. Through our work, we aim to build a culture of care and preparedness, where people feel empowered to take action and help others in need.
OUR FOUNDER
In early 2023, former nurse and current Realtor Ann Walter started Hands On Heroes Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Kansas City offering free hands-on CPR training to the public.
Ann spent many years as a nurse in local Kansas City hospitals, gaining valuable experience in critical care medicine and patient care. She witnessed firsthand the critical importance of CPR in saving lives and wanted to make sure that more people had the skills to act quickly and effectively in an emergency.
However, CPR training classes are not always affordable or accessible to those who do not work in the medical field. Ann saw an opportunity to change this, and create a safer community where more lives can be saved by everyday people.
